Yea judging from it's location I would say that is what it is. She said that it would spool up then kinda die.

My wifes A4 has been hissing or shushing instead of wistleing. Is this due to the cold weather or is there a problem? I don't remember it making this wooossssshhhh sound last winter. It also seems louder than it did when it whistled.

If we get one it would be the 5-door sportback. I don't think they are releasing the 3-door in the US yet. They are also going to ax the 1.8t in favor of the new (at least over here) 2.0t. It is rated at 200hp and 207lb/ft and is supposed to get up to 39m.p.g. One problem we may run into is...

Have you looked into the new Supra? The pics I saw were ugly but in person it should look better. The last generation sells for twice book in some cases and they were pretty quick and reliable. Should be out by 07
