There is no need to worry, I do get full lock, it doesnt rub and I do thrash the hell out of it, on both BBS's and the Rotor's.
It did a 3.88 to 60 and 12.68 quarter mile at Inters.....on the BBS full dropped!
Hahahaha.....because you clearly know it all
Thats ok because you wouldnt be baller enough to drive it. This thing has collected more trophies at shows than any other S3 out there
You wont see shrinkage when a part has been done in an autoclave, the reason the parts are shrinking is because the majority of carbon skinned parts made in the UK are hand laid and no autoclave is used and subsequently the resin takes longer to cure and then post cures in heat i.e. in the sun...
Oh and just to show what I mean by shrinkage, here is a pic of a well known european RS4 that is covered in carbon, the rear boot piece is shocking due to the heat, so just think how hot a dash and console get!
Just bear in mind that the interior pieces in carbon are going to get a lot of heat and will suffer shrinkage if not done properly. If you look at about 90% of the carbon work on show cars it will be suffering serious shrinkage due to the heat.
Good luck getting around that issue.
Now here is...
The Sper RS are 2 piece forged, normal RS's are three piece and don't tend to come in 18/19" sizes.
The Super RS is still in production so you can buy new from BBS, the normal RS's ceased production years ago.
The buckets are the best seats I've ever sat in, and anyone who says they are not comfy is wrong FACT....I've done some stupid long drives in mine, like 1200 miles to MIVW in a day and was fresh after the drive!
People who moan about buckets can't afford them
