    How come the 20V T is such a money pit to get power from?

    One thing that puts me off is the access at the back of the engine for doing the work. I know if you do it right you should only need to do it once but it's not a very nice space to work in. I'll just settle for my remap for now,I would like about 300 BHP but I don't want it that bad.

    Funny you mention about the ecu upping boost when its hot. My car is running about 17 psi but on the warmer days recently its been nearer 20 psi. I did wonder why.

    I might get them refurbed later in the year. The paint is a bit rough in places on them but you get away with it because of the dark colour. Well glad i bought them.

    Yeah they are 18". Never seen them come up for sale before and they were cheap so it would have been rude not to.

    Not sure if this will work trying to post it from my phone. Get some mtm reps the other day. They need a paint but because of the colour you only notice if you look closely.

    Yeah. If it was terrible to drive I would have had more motivation to sort it. Your right about the torque though. Wheelspin at 80 in 4th when the roads are slippy. In the dry it's fine unless your pushing it off roundabouts etc in the lower gears.

    Drives fine without it. Just hopeless in the wet. I will be fixing it when I have time anyway. Would have done it by now if I never had to swap the engine.

    Not had a chance to get on it yet with work and other problems so far.

    It's £85+ vat for a new one from Audi so might just go with that. Should last another 200k miles then.
