I was chatting the master technician at an audi dealership yesterday and he said the b7 RS4 is the worst for faulty clutches. He said they fail frequently because, in his opinion, they are too small.

Not very much to be honest. They seemed happy that it was now slipping and said it would probably get a new clutch under warrenty. Its booked in for next week.

I am working under the belief that as i bought the car from an audi dealer two weeks ago that i am protected from a worn or slipping clutch by the Audi 30 day guarentee. Therefore its in my interest to get them to acknowledge now rather than in a few weeks when it will become my problem.

Well, the halfords thing was a waste of time. However i found that if i fold up an old jumper and place it where the base meets the seat back then my back pain disappears. 80)
