thanks ,will try them first , wondered if could have been driveshafts but will try cheaper jobs u suggest first , would tracking make it vibrate, bearings arent making any noises but worth a look , thinking of selling her soon so need to sort it before anyone testdrives , will be sad to see her...

hi guys , i have a 99 a4 b5 1.9 tdi se which i ran on 18" rs4s for about 1 1/2 yrs, went back to 16"std speedlines (sprayed matt black ) ride was always bit shaky and vibrationy ( made up word) with rs4s on , when put speedlines back on it was smooth as silk for a while but now up to 55 is...

The avant (purply colour) ,they look like 16"inch speedlines , ihave 18"rs4s on at mo but putting std speedlines back on sprayed gun metal grey .... I think they are a nice looking wheel ..

I suppose the cheaper they are the harder and crashier ( probably not even a word ) it will be , cheers , prob going to go 30 on front ,25 on back on std shocks for now . Just to get front bit lower.probably going to put std 16" speedlines back on to get rid of some harshness , theyre painted...

Hi guys , this might be a silly question but are all lowering springs the same stiffness , ie are 20mm-30mm springs same stiffness as 40mm-50mm , cheers guys...

Thanks 4 that bud , if I get springs now though , how would I know dampers fit springs when I finally get some , are they universal if both springs and dampers are 4 same model ? Wondered if u had any experience or heard anything about lesjofors springs .. the only reason I looked at cheap...

I've seen some shocks and springs sets and coilover and springs sets on eBay 4 about 220 quid , I know they are not going to be bilstein quality but like I say , I'm on a budget. : ( do u think they would be ok , ?

Why's that bud , I have heard they are a lot stiffer , what's the advantage to coilovers over shocks .
