hi guys , im a noob on this site but love it . ive got a standard 99 b5 1.9 tdi se with 18"rs4s on , want to lower it by 40 mm , want 50mm but got two sprogs in the back a lot of the time , could i go 40mm on standard shocks ,wondered if anyone had any experience with 40mm on std shocks , it doesnt get driven like i stole it but heard shocks can bottom out on pistons if drop is to much . limited funds so was hoping to do it this way as a half decent set of coilovers and springs is a bit out of my price range at mo . any advice or help would be appreciated ..........
