Hi everyone, Been having a bad few weeks with my S3... First cylinder 2 coil pack failed, so AA changed this on the road side. I then booked it in for Audi part of the coil pack recall, which Audi changed the other 3 coil packs. A few days later I noticed they forgot they lost my engine cover...

Could be the flywheel bolts... Where they changed? Or did the originals have any play in them?

I had a similar noise and could work out what it was, ended up being 2 loose wheel nuts... Check that as it a easy fix...

I thought the climate display was 49 for coolant temp? Might be wrong...

Gops, where did u buy the temp sensor from? I had my fail when I brought it from Euro Car Parts... So got replacement from Audi direct, no that much different in price... Lets us know when you find out what the cause is?

I had similar problem on my a3 and found out it was the temp sensor... Did you manage to resolve it?

It's is the fuse holder on top of the battery... But remove the fuses and check the contacts on the fuses and the contacts in the holder... As looking at the holder with the fuses in place didn't show any sign of the issue... But when I removed the fuses and check the contacts, they were melted...

Hi Darren. Yeh fan with air con were fine and didn't take much notice off it as I thought it was ok... Only when I was driving hard 1 day I noticed the temp gauge go above 110... Got really worried and started testing everything to find out fan would not kick in when temp was above 96c and they...

I had same issue on my S3. Ended up being one of the contacts in the fuse box melting... Could not notice it until I removed the fuses... Have your checked this? I had to replace the fuse box...

Sorry for te late reply... Just been having fun in the snow with my S3... I will see if I can find the kit on eBay... Seems like a good tool to buy... Thanks guys
