I believe the current A6 design to be absolutely the best looking car ever. I'm sorry to see the change, but, I to will probably grow ever fond of the new design over an extended period of time.

I know, I know... here we go again. However, this isn't a question of what oil to use, rather, what experience have you had with both Mobil 1 and Red Line synthetic? I'm using Red Line now and love it except for the price. I had used Mobil 1 and was not very satisfied.

My wait will be longer than yours! We aren't scheduled for A3's here in the States until next year.

How does it compare with a full-blown Golf? My girlfriend wants the VW, and I'm trying to convince her to wait for the A3.

Oh yes. Wheel bearings... that was another problem with my 930, as well. A different "squeek"... more like a "squeal". Perhaps we're getting somewhere closer to solving this problem!

Sounds like you need to "bed" them in by going fast, then apply brakes hard, several times (like racing pads). Or, perhaps you are using the wrong pads. I had a similar problem with my A6 recently. Finally, I installed different pads. Problem solved. On my 930 race car, I've got a squeek that...
