    Odd vibration when accelerating

Yeah... it would be! I've already had the flywheel and clutch replaced, though - good job it's in warranty still. It's really annoying - feels like a really lumpy ride and is only when around 1900 rpm or approx 60mph+ in 6th.

    Odd vibration when accelerating

It's been a while since I was last here, but I need a bit of advice if you can. My 2.0TDI has been excellent - now on about 45K and coming up to 3 yrs old. I noticed a few months ago that when I was driving at speeds of around 60 - 80 I would feel a definite vibration as I accelerated. It...

Cant Access Links / My Profile

Yep - several times... :-/ I seem to recall a setting somewhere which allowed me to make the forum list page the home page, but I could be wrong. Any news on this would be good...

    Traffic News website - Awesome

Sadly, I have to use it all too often as well. Were you one of the unfortunate thousands caught up in the debacle on the 25th February - J7 was closed off and J8 was left open... we all piled in to the stretch of the M11 with no exits, only to sit there for nearly 8 hours. Lost four theatre...

And ditto here, too... all links to forums, home and your home lead to the same place (and it isn't Rome). Help?!

Dension IPOD link and Audi IPOD link

Thanks for that d3fy, did you have to use/upload any firmware files when you started the device, or was it set up ready to use straight away?

Dension IPOD link and Audi IPOD link

I'll be only too happy to help - although I reckon quite a few folk on here will be equally, or better, able :-) Let us know when you get it...

Dension IPOD link and Audi IPOD link

Just to add my 2p - I used to use a Dension unit (ICE>Link Plus) and a Brodit mount, attached to my Chorus HU. It worked well and the hardest part was removing the HU - once I figured out which way the keys have to go it was a piece of cake! The Dension unit has a small wiring adapter - you...

Deep scratches, deep misery, new car?

Really? I thought it was a bit pricey, personally. But then again I haven't ever needed to get anything repainted before. Either way, the car needed a full valet (about £100 all in) and with the cost of the re-spray I decided it was time to change the car - a bit earlier than I would normally...

Deep scratches, deep misery, new car?

Hi all - not posted for a while, but thought I'd update you on what happens at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. I went there last weekend for a day out with the family, and returned back to the car to find some G1T had keyed the bonnet of my car, about four times, right across. There is a...

    Woohoo, ipod finally in car

I mounted my Dension on the bars adjacent to the gear stick - use a Brodit pro clip. This position keeps it subtle, gives access to the iPod controls (which is better than using the Dension controls) and you can easily slip the iPod out of the cradle when you leave the car. If you use a vent...

My Bose has lost its base

Thanks for that AndyMac, it is indeed the new shape A3 (car is Feb 04). I guess this makes it less likely to fit...?

My Bose has lost its base

Andy - what's the cost of a stealth sub upgrade? I've replaced the Audi HU with an Alpine and am now wanting to change the standard speakers... not sure what to, yet, but the obvious thing to do is to get a kickass sub in there somewhere :-)
