Audi Connect has expired. Renewal question

Yeah not doubting it's gone in Audis. I noticed before renewing my connect licence on my 2016 A4 it had gone also. But still works fine on other brands seemingly. I wonder if its just specific to Audi not maintaining the tech like they did with Google maps and hiding behind spurious reasons...

Audi Connect has expired. Renewal question

Sorry I disagree! Guessing this is simply another case of Audi discontinuing their own support, losing the licence like they did with official support for Google Maps..... I subscribe to the online traffic still with Audi connect in my Audi A4. I renewed this last week, and did have the same...

    Google Earth/Satellite Maps

Yeah just drop Congo a message. He will talk you through it step by step. And only request payment once you've seen it working and happy with the outcome. Once all complete that's it really. It works like new and you just forget about it Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapatalk

Why was the A4 1.4 discontinued?

Also, may or may not be related, but there's a lot of reports of problems with this engine hesitating / stuttering around 2,000rpm, and being impossible to drive smoothly as a result. This was across the VAG range, I think the problem was acknowledged by the manufacturers but no known fix...

    Lane assist / OBDEleven B9 S-Line with pre-sense

I've had mine on all the time for a few years now. My experience..... We have quite a primitive version of detecting if your hands are on the wheel. I think in newer cars it detects hand pressure, in ours it detects movement of the wheel, this means if you are driving on a straight stretch...

    Google Earth/Satellite Maps

Think this is dependant of the age of your car, my car (June 16) was one of the first of the new MY17, part of the 17 changes was to have an embedded e-sim built into the MMI. The b9s before this you needed to obtain your own physical sim to make any data services work. I was one of the...

Problems With OBDEleven 1 Click Apps?

Hi there What will happen is the Audi system will compare the software for all the modules to how it left the factory, and more than likely reset them back, meaning your adjustments are lost. They could in theory use the changes to back out of warranty claims for the modules that were changed...

    Google traffic not working

Thanks not just me then! Seemed back online for my way home though! Annoying thing is all the other random rubbish works perfectly. I don't need news articles on my mmi lol. Yet the only useful thing in the traffic function is constantly flakey Sent from my SM-G998B using Tapatalk

    Alloys question

As the owner of a similar car to you with the same wheels....I also had a courtesy car long-term a couple of years ago when mine was being repaired waiting for parts, it had the 19 wheels. They did give a notably firmer ride, and also quite a bit more road noise. I love how quiet and smooth my...

    Replacement Steering Stalks

Just to throw another option into the mix. Have you Obd 11? It has full vcds functionally using Bluetooth dongle, and app on your phone. There are also "one button " on off options. Even if you don't use this, and prefer coding, the fact you can leave it plugged in all the time, and also have...
