yes, its an autloeads connector but not for Bose, i had to use the PC9 401, I didn't know if the old wiring loom connector had the GAL input to it, if it does it should be as you say, find the pin on the old plug/loom, move or add a new pin to the PC9-401 and route it to the correct socket on...

I'll check the old radio out at lunchtime but i can wait, its taken me 3 day of hacking at the car to get to where i am now :) becker is in and the ipod , cd and radio are all working its just the sat nav and telephone mic left to do and I need to find a way to fit the mic as well....

I'm fitting a Becker to my TT (non Bose) and need to find the GAL /speedo output, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the plug that goes from the loom into the Audi radio.

I'm about to fit a Becker Indianapolis into my TT which has an Audi OEM cassette/radio fitted, non Bose. Has anyoen done this? how easy is it to do? I know there are GALA leads and a reverse wire to connect but don't know where to take these from. TIA
