as said its a 2 piece sump and it's the lower pan thats cracked, just put the car onto ramps the undid the 4 bolts on the antiroll bar then about 15 sump bolts and off it came, sealed the new one and put it back on, £73.00 i shouldn't have needed to spend though !!! but now iv'e learnt my lesson...

i bought a 2nd hand dash for 100 quid as my display was same as yours, i got it recoded for 25.00 from audi and it kept the mileage what was on the 2nd hand clocks not the mileage what was on my clocks ! so lower mileage lol
hi ive just bought some of the rear lights in the 2nd picture and one's of the car, do these need the pin swap ? they came with the bulb holders They are from a 2000 Audi A4 B5
iv'e just had some clocks coded in by the dealer it cost 25 quid as i no someone who works there, they will prob charge about a hours diagnostic labour which is prob about 80 quid
in pic 1 thats the throttle body, and i would say thats a return or feed pipe from the water pump,to the throttle body fill the header tank back up and run the car to see if it pushes water out of it, this may take a while as there might be a bit of air in the system, or put your thumb over it...
The top plug is a non standard mini ISO 20 pin and feeds the Bose amp front & rear, the DIS and the CD changer, does your display in the dash work ? if not just plug the wire into the radio the black wire goe's to the connects 2 box to power it the the other cable is for the i-pod
ah right i think you do need those wire's cant you see if some one is breaking a a4 and get them off that ? navigation is ok when you get used to it i usually just put i pod on shuffle and go from there !!!
i did 2 on a allroad, wheel off undo drive shaft nut remove both lower ball joint's if this has same then pull shaft out, remove 2 circlips and knock the cv off, replace cv boot then rebuild. about 1hr a side mate and 25 each from dealer inc new bolt for shaft and clips for cv joint
hi im using that connets 2 ipod kit in my car its ok sound is good and easy to fit you don't need the cd cable as this fits into the part where there is the blue,yellow,green plugs and they plug back into the wiring, takes about 5 mins to fit
