I had some issues with the genuine audi ones on my pre-facelift s3, turned out to be the 2 prongs/metal connectors on the back of the led lights were not making enough contact once installed. I gently bent the prongs/connectors out more to make contact once screwed in. Simple but solved my issue.

My Revo intake makes the same faint pop sound after lifting off accelerator as well

you can reset the oil service yourself by following the manual but the long life service indicator needs to be done by VCDS.

I have the Revo powder coated and i'm really pleased with it, easy enough to fit and awesome sound. I got mine from v-hub on eBay they accepted 260 for it delivered...

After blowing my head up with the designated service reset in VCDS this just worked a treat for me! thanks I know this is an old thread but it saved my sanity!

Thanks, I was hoping there might have been an easier way to inspect it I hadn't found yet.

Does anybody know if there a way of inspecting/replacing the timing chain tensioner without removing the valve cover on a 2008 pre-facelift S3? I've searched and all the videos/posts and even kits for replacing the chain and tensioner show the removal of the valve cover? Thanks
