i'm just being curious when i bought the car it had a vac leak which put MIL on so dealers mechanic cleared the fault and off i went the MIL lamp came on again a few days later and his handheld scanner showed it took 15 km for the fault to return so was just wondering if VCDS had this function...
Just wondering if anybody knows if an engine check light or fault is cleared by using VCDS lite/Vagcom then the fault reappears dose vagcom log how many miles it took for fault to reappear
My Audi A3 2002 1.8T AUM had split vacuum hoses Malfunction Indicator Light came on this fault was logged

So i changed 2 breather hoses and some of the small vacuum pipes under...
Thanks Dave Ive not logged boost before & it looked like it dropped a lot i thought it would boost to 9psi ish then drop a little not as much as it did and hold level then drop again
looks like Ive a lot to learn

2. Used to have a golf if the doors were closed fast it created pressure in the car and the doors wouldn't shut properly

4. Radio just picks up static could be aerial booster amp i had a problem with mine managed to repair it look here

A mate of mine slid on ice into a wall with his Rover 75 no major damage just needed bumper grill bonnet 1 headlight and paint the insurance company wrote it off...
:laugh:and theres me thinking sports versions are supposed to be lighter have less electrical gizmo's so that they are quicker and handle better than fully specked all singing and dancing lardy sofa
