I see what you're theory is but I also wonder if there is a pressure relief spring that is getting weak when hot
Badger 5 Bill any thoughts on this scenario?..
Maybe oil temps I suppose, I may just fit a new oil pump and check strainer just seems weird if I switch it off for a few seconds and back on its almost normal!..
Have the same problem! Just fitted an external oil gauge and get 2bar at idle on normal driving, and up to 4 bar on rising rpm but, after a hard 1-2-3-4 oil pressure drops to 2bar and doesn't rise, however if I turn the motor off and then back on oil pressure comes back to near normal
(Pressure...
Bill sorted mine and made it very responsive and a decent power throughout the range although I should have port matched the turbo to manifold for even better flow
Right the problem is now sorted thank god!
Massive thanks to Wak from the TT forum who vagcommed my S3 and tracked the limp mode/throttle prob to a wire by the boost gauge pipe that had been pinched and was broken hence not allowing the correct voltage to the relevant throttle requirements...
Cheers Ash
I'm on it at the mo and will check back with you as I have been told that when you change the throttle pedal you must do a throttle adaptation via Vagcom which is something I havnt done
Yes, I have posted on his page so hopefully he can come up with some info/solution one way or another
At least now I can change throttle pedals in 10 mins lol!
They seem interchangeable, have swapped back to my old pedal and it does the same thing going to change the TB with my sons S3 today but not confident to be honest!
The code is P2122 Switch D Circuit low input (beginning to think my ECU is trucked!) it's got a Badger 5 remap on it which I don't...
