Hi I've got the same unit as Mike597. Most things appear to work OK apart from the steering wheel controls. For people who have this unit, did you have to change any settings to get them to work? I noticed there are three "key" cables as well but from my (admittedly rather limited) understanding...

Had one of them in my A4. Worked fine but in the end I changed it for a Dension Gateway as the Connects2 doesn't put the song name on the DIS whereas the Dension does.

I've in fact just finished replacing the glass on my A4. I struggled removing the glass by pulling it out. Instead I removed the black plastic bottom part of the mirror (its only held in with two screws), you the have access to the back of the glass and it easy to just push it out then.
