I meant to give an update to my post above a while ago but seeing the latest activity reminded me..... I took my car into Tamworth Audi for the first MOT the other week and dropped it off the night before, the following morning when they started it up to move it into the workshop it struggled...

Update from Audi Leicester, they are standing by what they have said and the battery is not covered under warranty. I have asked them to evidence how they can tell that the car has been standing and they cannot do that apparently. They now will not release the car till I pay them a £198...

Thanks for the replys, I have done a bit more research and seen in the manual that 502 00 is fine as long as not long life servicing so as the oil I used meets 502 00, I am planning on leaving it but changing the oil as if it was not on long life service (which I usually do anyway). Thanks again

Hi, I am after a favour from anyone who has the V6 2.5TDi to see what their oil and water temp are once the car has warmed up. I have a horrible feeling that the thermostat has gone but want to see what peoples oil temps are at to rule out the water temp sensor. I did some 'testing' tonight...
