dont have a note of it at the moment.did a full dial sweep and gauge only flickered ?

all dials went through a full sweep except temp gauge,which just flickered

engine management light is on,changed the temperature sensor ,still not working.noticed the hot air is only warm.had a mate do a check with diagnostics and the temp gauge would flicker ?,strange ??.sometimes it goes up but not very often. any ideas ??,also noticed when idling sometimes the car...

this is driving me mad.sometimes the gauge works but more often than none its not. the engine management light is on all the time. the heaters also only seem to get luke warm.have changed the coolant temp sensor still no change .
