GrayT Thankyou for you input, have been looking into TIP already, think it would be a must, to be fair rollers normally give a lower reading normally due to the heat soak but on the day the temp outside was sub zero and in front of the fans wasn't any greater, I was planning on spending more...

it only does it at around 5000rpm, looking at the graph possibly around maximum power, its like i am backing of the throttle then on again, you can feel the car pulsing when this happens.

jst a map, will prob best phone jim and see what he suggests, been reading about n75 valves giving up and also spiking boost levels, but you could prob diagnose the car with every problem going, guessing is an expensive business, but appreciate there has to be a bit of trial and error.

That is hilarious!!, my misses has to nip out to the car and remove any junk from door pockets/boot etc before we go out as she knows i'll be in bad form if there's anything lurking in the door pockets that doesnt resemble fresh air!!! am i a bad man!!!!
