Yup, I've had the grin all weekend long. I keep looking out of my window to remind myself that it's now in my drive! I've up 500 miles on it so far! It's brilliant to drive though. Doesn't corner as well as the 3 series, but that was to be as expected... No regrets here!

Loving the car! So many gadgets and gizmos to play with. It looks incredible at night too (especially the lighting inside).

I picked up mine yesterday and my iPhone can definitely shuffle through the MMI menus. I have the HD based Sat Nav, so it may be something to do with the basic sat nav?

Is it not taking it a bit far to say others should choose another car because the iPod can't shuffle?! if I was in your situation I would buy an SD card as presumably that will be able to shuffle?

Just heard from the dealer again. It's arrived! I get to pick up my beauty of a car first thing saturday morning :) I have a busy weekend ahead too, so it'll easily clock 600 miles before monday :) :)

Is it worth thinking about the resale? Surely a bigger engine will be a lot more popular (if it's not far off the economy of a smaller engine?). Something to think about anyway!

In England we have codes on our plates which shows when the car is first registered on the road. So from 1st March 2013 - 31st August 2013, we have XX13 XXX plates as standard (Letters replace X). Then from 1st September 2013 - 28th February 2014, the plates look like XX63 XXX. Then it moves up...

Just had a call from the dealer! It's on a transporter on it's way to the dealership. It should arrive tomorrow, but there's an outside chance it arrives Thursday. There's the slimmest of chances that I can pick it up on saturday morning (I guess that's if the car is delivered tomorrow morning)...

Well lets hope that means I get to pick up next week then! I wasn't told if I had taken someone's cancellation spot. I was originally told that the car would be ready at the beginning of August, so it may just be that, because of the large spec, they pushed it through early for me?
