    Wiring in a proper accessory feed (ignition on) for aftermarket HU install

    If I'm not adding an aftermarket HU, can I pick up the switched power lead which runs to the factory amp in the boot to turn on a couple of amplifiers? Or, is this still not a typical ignition lead? Thanks for the help.

    wanting to replace the full Bose system in my new Audi A3

    Is this the same socket connector to the rear amp/sub in the 2009 8PA (5 door A3)? If so, should I use Pin 5 to switch on the two amps I'm adding? One 4-channel amp for front and rear component sets, and one for a small subwoofer. Also, I will use a line out converter from the rear speaker...
