The time has come for my 2nd AVS S3 service with 26,500 miles in the clock. I would like to get an idea of what work will be carried out and the cost. What's the difference between the standard AVS service and AVS plus? Which service is better suited to the S3. Cheers. Dre

According to the stats the V6 TT is 0.2 seconds quicker to 60Mph than the S3 due to the DSG box.

Please feel free to correct me if I a wrong. I am no expert when it comes to Audi ECUs but I am pretty sure the ECU is logging every attribute it can! With regards to not detecting if the ECU has been opened. Dont they come with some form of Tamperproof warranty seal that splits when opened...

Remember its a Turbo charged car, so the exhaust gases operate at a much higher temperature, hence the steam from the exhaust. It sounds perfectly normal.

I am not sure but I was looking at Goodyear F1's or the Toyo Proxes. I have been told whilst the Toyos offer superb grip in both wet/dry conditions, the wear rate is very high.

The time has come to replace my tyres. Would anyone like to recommend a competitive tyre company in London? Do you have to go back to the Dealers for the best 4 wheel alignment? Or is there a good specialist I could go to? I am looking for 225/45/17 ZR speed rating. Cheers.

Not wanting to 'Hijack' the thread but do you find that S3's wear the outside edge of the tyre first? or do you get even wear across the tyre? 6 months down the line a have almost bald outside edge and at least 6mm on the rest of the tyre.

How many of you guy's with low insurance premiums live in London? What part of the county are you in because some of your premiums look fantastic. Anyway: 26, Full NCD £1250 in London.

What are the road conditions like when ESP kicks in? I find that for fast starts wet or dry ESP will kick in, more so in the wet. When on a spirited drive in the wet I always leave it on (You never know! ). I think ESP and rain go together. It also shows you where to improve your cornering...

Off on all ROUNDABOUTS and when I Fully know the road ahead. Otherwise it can cut in at the wrong time. On the other hand I am sure it has saved me on occasion.
