    Odd electrical fault - Indicators

Thanks for that. I'll have a search and see if I can find the thread. I've just been having a read on another forum and others with the same issue said it was the indicator switch itself at fault. That would actually be ideal if it was the fault...looks much easier to replace.

    Odd electrical fault - Indicators

Sorry to thread jack guys....I'm having the same issue at the moment with my 2005 A3 TDI S-line. I managed to pick up a replacement today from an 07 s line, and I noticed that the symbols on the new stalk are positioned slightly different compared to my current one :S. Will it still fit? Also...

TDI S line Brake Fluid Issue

roughly around 250-500ml every 3 - 4 weeks. I checked around the brakes and there didnt seem to be any visable leaks/breaks. Where is the master cylinder located? Was thinking the exact same, but even if the sensor was at fault, would it be still using this amount of fluid? Where abouts...

TDI S line Brake Fluid Issue

Hi, over the past couple of months my 05 A3 TDI S line, seems to be going through an excessive amount of brake fluid, and triggering the brake warning light on the dash. There doesn't seem to any leaks in the bay or underneath the car, and my discs and pads all seem fine too. Each time I top...

    Cambelt Change - Manchester Area

Hi guys, My cambelt is due on my 05 A3 TDI S-line, and a friend of mine who works for Jag has offered to do it. However, hes a little hesitant as he has never done one on an Audi before, and has been told by an ex VAG mechanic who he works with, that he will need an Audi locking tool to do the...

Hi guys, Its been a while since I posted on here (stupidly busy with work) Unfortunately I'm still having a bit of a nightmare with this. The dealer stopped answering my calls/messages to get the car fixed. I since paid £35 to get a full diagnostics check done from a VAG specialist in...

Noob -TDI S LINE Problems - Engine Warning

Thanks again for all the feedback and links guys. I'll have a read now. @sliced....can you explain to me how the 3 months warranty system works?? ps - I took the car to my mechanic earlier. He used an Omnetic diagnostic system which he also uses in work (he works for Jag and he has used this...

Noob -TDI S LINE Problems - Engine Warning

Hmm...not too sure mate. Would be interesting to find out for sure though. I'm just having a read through this: Citizens Advice - The car you bought is faulty unless I'm missing something, its seems that I'm well within my rights to ask for a refund or to get the car fixed free of charge...

My thoughts exactly mate. Thing is I really do love the car, as it was the best I could find out of the 8 I looked at. I'd happily keep it if they were willing to fix it. However, given their response so far, I think I may have to go down the consumer rights route before I get anywhere:(

Noob -TDI S LINE Problems - Engine Warning

Hi guys, I'm new to the Audi scene and purchased an 05 A3 TDI S line DSG last weekend. The car seemed Ok, had full Audi Service history, my mechanic checked it over etc. However, after around an hour after leaving the Dealership I bought it from, the engine warning light came on. Although I...

Hi guys, I've had my head burried in the site for the past few weeks (great site by the way, really informative and some amazing members rides), so thought it was time to stop and say Hi to you all. I have always been into and owned Jap Performance cars previously, bar a breif stint with a...
