Hi all
The nozzle on my 06 A4 avant was blocked, so I duly pulled off the nozzle and cleaned it.
It now squirts but no matter which way I point it, it seems to hit the inside of that plastic cover.
The nozzle I have is the single jet (like this picture I found)...
Thanks, good call. Will also make sure that's checked. The garage is very above board but things like what brand of clutch is preferred is a bit more subjective.
Hi All
My fathers A4 B7 1.9 Diesel has just broken down and the pedal is loose (but does slowly spring back).
It is possibly the cylinder but just as likely the clutch given it has done 125,000
Parts seem to be about £130 for a sachs clutch (good brand for the A4?) or is valeo worth the...
Hi All
A bit confused as to which top up oil we should buy for a 2006 1.9 TDI 110?
We picked up 1 litre from Audi which was the 5W30 Castrol Edge "Professional", however the Castrol Guide and online retailers all say it is just the usual 5W30 Castrol Edge that we now need and I seemingly...
An update on this one
Eventually got it working, seems the install instructions floating around the net are now invalid.
Apparently there was a replacement switch made in Malta to replace the original and that design required that you fitted the switch with the clutch depressed, the very...
No the light is only on when cc is in use ie the button on the end of the stalk is pressed, it may just need recoding.
Thanks, definitely not working.
Pull the switch in it's closest to driver position, press the button for a short while and nothing :(
Tried my friends VAGCOM but his...
Ok got the clutch switch and refitted today after reading online
(Remove switch, depress clutch, push in new switch being careful not to touch the end and clockwise back into place, bring clutch back in slowly and pull up slightly to properly engage)
And it still doesn't seem to work :( Having...
I have a generic OBD2 cable(not KKL) that should be able to read some basic info, will try this first and see if any faults are flagged.
If not will do as mentioned above about pulling the clutch switch off and joining the connectors.
Thanks for the help all :D
Hi All
My father has a Audi A4 Avant B7 and the cruise control is failing to engage.
It would appear to be either the clutch/brake switch or the main stalk, is there any easy way of checking the switches?
The car is still under used warranty from a specialist but they are about 1hr30...
Hi All
My Father has recently bought a A4 Avant B7 and some of the interior trim is scuffed.
I would be looking to replace the the rear panel upper that you see in the boot, the rear upper panel on the left and the A pillar. How easy are these trims to replace? and do they also have...
After my father saw my A3, he now wants the bigger A4.
He is on a bit of a budget, but he has came across a 1999 T reg A4 1.9 TDI 110 Auto in silver (which I believe is the face lift?) the car has 133k miles.
Now my questions
1) Will the Auto box be OK and continue to go on for a while more...
I just went to see the car again, managed to catch him as he was seeing some relatives this weekend.
The car passed its mot and I saw the cert, as well as the emissions test.
The two front tyres have now been replaced and I asked about the oil, we looked at the receipts from Audi and it seems...
Good idea, had already thought about it. 80k cars with the facelift and leather, still seem to go for about this kind of price bracket any way. Only cheap car ive seen was a 2000 facelift with 95k miles, but pretty poor spec for 6k.!
