C2C used a dealer a little bit south of London when I was looking at getting an S3.
Gordon mentioned getting a cheap flight to London about £60 from Newcastle then I think you could get the tub or a train close to the dealership.
They can also deliver it to you, which is included in the price...
And I've requested a quote from "drive the deal" & "coast2coast" to see what they come back with, orangewheels was roughly the same as I've got from lookers so didn't bother with them.
Yeah I'm very aware that the deposit is pretty much gone and most likely won't be there at the end. My thinking is that my circumstances will be a lot better in 4 years, once I'm qualified.
I might end up keeping the car once the 4 years is over.
So I've been back in to test drive a manual and much proffer the s tronic. I guess I'd get used to the manual but the s tronic is nice.
So spec'd a white S3 s tronic with tech pack which includes the VC. Delivery would be September on a 67 plate.
Payments are at with 326 with 5k deposit from...
It was the ibis white, I love the nano grey though.
Yeah I know that's the only thing, I love the SS seats the one we test drove had them 66 plate. Just can't stretch my payments to much.
Wonder if I spec'd the tech pack with VC and had one build what that would do to my payments.
How longs...

S3 SB STronic

Only added extra is the privacy glass.
4.5k deposit inc my px...
Unfortunately not standard :( looking at the pre-facelift test drove a 184 s tronic today which has them but didn't have the satnav & it seemed over priced for mile and age at 19k
Going back tomorrow with the Mrs so she can have her say, while i'm there also going to try an S3 not the ones i'd...
Ormesome, like you said it's like a step back and I don't want to spend all this money for a lower spec car than I already have.
As for the model it's got to be an sline with lowish miles. I'd proffer the 184 diesel & budget was between 15 - 20k I guess it would be easier to find on the 150...
Hi All
I'm looking to get a new(ish) A3 undecided on the 184 / 150 diesel or manual/automatic but will figure that out when i go test drive them.
So currently i have automatic light/rain sensors on my 2005 A3, looking at quite a lot of the A3s on autotrader there isn't loads which seem to have...
I took out the Bluetooth phone holder that was attached the the cup holder cover today. So now I need a new cover because it has a massive hole in it. Searched eBay and can't find what I'm looking for, anyone know if there is a part number for the sliding cover?
