Hi Guys,
Just need to know if the t10112 is the correct lead puller for my 2003 A3 1.6 8L, and if the plugs can be removed without unbolting the manifold etc. Any help greatly appreciated. This is the tool.
Hi buddy,
Are you still trying to source the radio with attachments, if so drop me a line and i'll speak to a mate, see if it'd doable at bargain basement.
Be well
DJ
Absolutely agree Stuart, but what we learn is that common sense is not as common as we think needless to add the knock on effect an oversight as silly as that can be, and i've just had my 19 bolt dropped through the door as I type. Just going to check it fits, yippee.
Sorry guys, not trying to be clever as I saw all of the replies after I replied. Mine was rattling as loud as a millers yard, took it to a garage I trust and they just ripped the heat shield out for free, this really does appear to be a common problem but no doubt some clever spark may find an...
If it resembles a tinny type rattle it could easily be the heat shield is loose, and the good news is any good garage would have a look at free of charge and give you an accurate diagnosis if their worth their salt buddy. Hope this helps a little.
Cheers Alex,
That makes a lot of sense, and it now occurs to me, it was the obvious first question they asked me when I took my golf, and obviously I had one, but they were looking at making money out of lost keys, as many lose them. Most grateful buddy but I just bought a 19 spline yesterday...
Crazy, that you say that you acquired keys from the scrappies, as I was there yesterday and went through every audi car boot in the yard and never found a single key of any description, last model some 14 years old so no surprises I couldn't find one, boohoo.
Be well.
Hi Buddy,
Your model looks like a 1.6 8L, so inorder to make this purchase idiot proof, I was just wondering if your model uses a 19 spline socket for security wheel nut removal, as I am near certain that is what mine requires.
Cheers
David
Guys, just throwing in my 2 pence worth, 'the right' information is a priceless commodity and things are always a breeze for those that know and where our cars are concerned sometimes we can become so desperate for a fix that we make ill advised choices in order to seek quick fixes.
Whilst some...
I hear you Holic, with a little research and the right info it's a simple science. I just counted the number of grooves and stopped at 19. Was just wondering, as I just bought a brand new set of front d's a p's for my mk 1V Golf, do you reckon the will be a good fit for my A3, I won't know until...
Hi Tufty,
I am trying to source a clear indication as to how to remove the master cylinder, with a clear set of instructions. I know from the illustrations Andy kindly provided that there is a metal clip securing a hose, however I am not sure how to get at the hose and further what is still...
Hi SB,
I totally know where you are coming from, did not have prior opportunity to look at a forum as my pedal stuck on the floor a very short time after buying my A3, but the good news for me was in that I had previously owned a MKIV Golf, and it appears that the former is the later with a...
Hi Hydro,
Sorry to butt in buddy, however having dismantled the pedal on my mkIV golf today thanks to another member you are absolutely right, my back is as stiff as a board but at least having done it I think i've worked out the easiest way to remove and reinstall it on my recently acquired...
