Its the control box that the Lambda sensors all plug into apparantly, thats what Audi are saying is causing my running problems.
I am happy to find it and fit my self but I have no idea where on the car it is.
Anyone got any ideas?
Hey guys, just had the car checked by Audi and it turns out the cause of all my problems is the NOX Control Box.
Now Audi want £700 to supply and fit this part which is ridiculous for something I presume is just a box that the lambda/exhaust sensors plug into?
Anyone had any experience of...
I can personally recommend the Osram nightbreakers. Massive difference over standard bulbs. I would like to look into the PIAA chrome mirror white range aswell, might invest in the sidelight bulbs when I do the front end conversion.
I was going to fit some aftermarket HID's to my A3, but after reading some of the horror stories on here I decided just to upgrade the standard bulbs to xenons.
Do a search on here mate theres plenty of evidence that it can **** up the electrics, blow the wiper motor etc.
Just a search for your opinions really on how long you expect the A3 engine to hold out?
Im just over 50k now and it still feels good. I know with my old Ford when you went over the 100k mark problems start occuring and by 150k a petrol engine was looking towards the end of its life, but thats...
Got a problem with my 3rd brake light on the A3, wanna take off the cowling which covers it and have a look but cant for the life of me work out how to do it?
I am going to be gettin a genuine one after having a couple of dodgy ebay ones that were very poor fits, better to just go genuine and be safe than sorry
What is a decent kit for srpings and shocks then that someone can recommend?
Dont wanna go lower than that, just taking the 4x4 look off lol.
Will probably change a few bushes at the same time like you suggest then.
Thinking of lowering the a3 when i get the 18 rim's to get rid of the rollerskate look.
looking to go about 30mm on just springs, but wanted to know if this over time can cause any issues?
i know i have heard, certainly with my old car, that lower can ruin the shocks, cause the wishbones...
When i put my foot down the revs dont change, then suddenly it kicks into life like its dropped a gear. Im in dartford, nearest dealer is bexley. How much is a diagnostics check?
lol thats good to know I suppose as I was starting to worry I had a dreaded faulty DSG and started seeing £2000 bills floating in front of my eyes lol.
Life was much simpler when I had a ford just replace £20 sensors till its fixed lol
