Cheers dude, it was a fair amount! Worth it though :).

    Curt's A3 1.8T progress thread... Again

Headlights everywhere: Before putting them back on I found some yellow film laying around, so tinted them as I could: I had to buy a cat for the MOT, so fitted that. This wouldn't fit to my existing system, so had to remove it entirely to make some "adjustments" (hit with a hammer). It's...

    Curt's A3 1.8T progress thread... Again

So it's been a while... Audi was off the road from February as it ran out of MOT and tax, and I couldn't afford to sort the issues I knew it had. So it sat in my workshop for a few months... Which made it nice and dusty: After I sold my Celica I used the cash to get this up and running...

    White tyre lettering

Only as a test! That's the whole point... If I knew I wanted to do it, I'd just do it properly. Haha, fair enough! Not biting anymore Jardo, I'll agree to disagree. Using an American spelling of a word in the UK is just wrong... IMO.

    White tyre lettering

It does when you're in the UK. Hasn't been shot down in flames as badly as I thought, I'll probably give it a go when I get a chance so I can get a better idea. I tend to avoid kerbs like the plague Stevie! Although water based paint is a good idea...

    White tyre lettering

I may give the Tipex a go so I have an idea. It'll definitely be marmite though . They're Falkens. I know it's up to me, just after opinions because I'm not sure. Just like you could spell tyres correctly. Good job I did it to my own car then, isn't it.

    White tyre lettering

Just after opinions. I like the look... but it suits certain cars, track slags mainly (obviously). But could my car pull it off? I've read it can be a ***** to remove if I just want to try it... Tempted to try some Tipex so it can be. Car in question: Main problem is a severe lack of...

    Best quick shift? Dieselgeek sigma?

I can't comment on that quickshift in particular, although I've never driven a car with one I like. It'll be more likely to make it more notchy than it already is, though...

S3 8l, the old Rota Grid question, HELP!

Rears won't be a problem with that fitment, I've got 9.5" ET35 on the back of my A3 and there's loads of room. The fronts are more of an issue. I need 5mm spacers with 8.5" ET35 and coilovers. You'll need more space for coilovers than struts and springs, too. Although I guess you'll have more...

    Curt's A3 1.8T progress thread... Again

Cheers dude. Yeah very, all you need is the facelift light units and some orange bulbs (as the standard are clear with orange lenses). Just make sure you can get hold of some with in-line pins, when I did mine, all of Halford's ones were offset for some reason... I had to get those horrible...

    Curt's A3 1.8T progress thread... Again

Sorry, haven't been online for a while! Cheers man. 8.5 on the front and 9.5 rear, 225/40/18s all round :) Thanks :). Yeah tell me about it, unfortunately I had to be fairly diplomatic, as it's my mates partners brother
