I have an almost identical problem with mine (A4 quattro Avant 2.0 TDI Sline SE) I get 35 per gallon if I dont boot it and thats mostly motorway miles. It WONT get better, mine's done 58,000 miles. Ive rasied it with Audi and had it checked out, they tell me there is nothing wrong with the car...
