Some faults are practically harmless for day to day driving whereas others need to be checked immediately. In the absence of any other dramatic message on the DIS, I'd say (in my non-mechanic's opinion) it's safe to get it to a workshop, but wouldn't want to do too much more without at least...

Thanks, this is partially the solution... With this, front indicators both come on and stay on when the main bixenon headlights are on (and on low-beam (or whatever it's called) too)

I have a DRL switch (well on/off spinning dial anyway), it's just that it controls the bulbs next to my bixenons, not the fogs/indicators
