I took everything apart, checked and cleaned the piping and put it all back together, resetting the ECU. This seems to have sorted it. Lets hope it's solved it for good. Had a little hiccup on the way back from the test, not sure whether this was because I had cleaned a few bits out with carb...

I have a feeling you're right about the hose. It felt like there was constantly no boost on the way to work this morning. I don't have any fancy kit, what would you recommend?

Yep, exactly. Just two rear silencers and no resonator in the middle, all with 2.5" piping. Having a look, I can't believe how restrictive the old piping looked in comparison. Really bottlenecked in parts. If you are a Devon resident, give them a call, their details are on the longlife site.
