    I'll try the oem dv tomorrow and see if anything changes, I doubt it though. Im leaning toward your first suggestion of possible heat soak

    Its in recirc configuration at the mo (trumpet removed and port blanked) so I was presuming it would do the same job as the oem. Besides, that wouldn't be causing my loss in power would it?

    Its a splitter, or can be recirc or atmos. The dv was installed weeks before the n249 bypass mod was done & the car ran fine

    Also when it runs feeling flat the dv is slightly delayed after lifting off the throttle

    Right, back to scratching me head now, got home from work and nipped out in the car and it felt great, really responsive, plenty of boost but about 30 mins later it felt flat again, after stopping for ten mins or so I drove it again and it felt alive again. Any ideas?

    Fixed the pipe, seems better but not the same as yesterday, maybe its just me, does feel more of a positive pull now the pipe is fixed

    Yeah, found a break in the lower plastic pipe from the sai pump, the break was about 2" from the end that sits to the right of the engine.

    Triple checked the plumbing and its correct as per the guide I used on here, both n112 & n249 still connected electronically. Considering putting it back to normal if I can find a diagram/pic of the original plumbing

    Only have an obd2 bluetooth jobby, not showing anything with that. Dv sounds totally different too and seems slightly delayed when lifting off throttle

    Hi all, today I did the n249 bypass mods on my 1.8t aum. Since doing the mod the car has felt pretty flat compared to pre n249 mod. Any suggestions?
