I would check the link into the car under the steering wheel - sounds like you have have a break in the circuit - cables were orange for me. Do you have vagcom to check for faults?

Can this be summarised up by saying that if you have a highline module and are prepared to have the lights come on even if its not dark - then ground pin t32b and encode and adapt j519 address 09 for the function. Cheers Chris

I've just noticed after looking at your examples then pistonheads, the cab never got the b7 styling line in the top of the doors/wings. The side profile is that of the b6. Interesting find on the sline bumpers. Chris

I do need to point out that Weekenny is 100% correct, the R8 is indeed not a 2L 4 cylinder turbo for the hard of thinking ! ;) That said, still don't worry about the oil consumption. If you do get the valve stem seals changed and it stops then I'm sure many people on here would love to hear...
