Anyway... I should have had zero problems as the H&R spacer I purchased ared double centered, removed dust cap to provide 100% spacer-brakedisc contact, extended ball seat bolts...
Probably I am mad for this and it is allrelated to a bad wheel balance.
Thanks!
Did you have to remove the dust cap for the wheel bearing? Or do they fit perfectly? I have seen som images on the ST website and it looks like you first have to remove the dustcap and then place the spacer. Once the spacer is placed you can put the dust cap against the spacer. I am right?
Yeah, the spacers are both Hub Centric and Wheel Centric with Lip extension. I may have lost one the balance ballast pieces on one of the rear wheels. Next week I will try to send to the shop and try to correct the wheel balance...
Sorry, I wanted to say bolts. Not using lugs at all...
FWD Cars have dust caps to protect the bearing. Awd ones like the S3 or the Quattro A3 do not have dust caps as they have the axle...I guess the bearing is different too.
I had to remove the cap so the spacer fit into properly...
Hi guys, I just installed 8mm hubcentric spacers on the back and onthe front too. I have removed the rear dust caps (as my car is FWD) and place the spacers....so they flush OK. The car started to vibrate at 80mph/130kphI got ball seat lugs since I used it on my stock wheels. i also got extended...
I am getting mad looking for this springs!! :( I just want to stick to a fully OEM car. It is absolutelly imposible to find any 2.0 TFSI FL manual front wheel drive car with S-Line optional Springs (-25mm from standard) to check its VIN...
As said before, my friend's Pre-FL Saloon is much lower than mine (he opted for S-Line (-25mm from standard) Suspension.
I have foud S-Line Springs from a MT 2.0 TDI 184HP Saloon (Pre-FL) at a reasonable price with just 1500km. The car is aroud 20-30Kg heavier than mine. That is why I am a...
Sorry, it looks like our Technical Data Sheets I have seen show "running order weight". This means Driver weight too. Anyway the weight difference is more than 100 Kg from my car. Will this explain the "no lowering" when using the S3 Saloon Springs? I have checked the ETKA and both frontand rear...
Hi!
In Spain (at least when I bought it Deceber 2016) it was Sport Suspension (-15mm from Ambition) with no cost and then "S-LINE" Suspension (another -10mm from Sport) Same ride height than S3. A friend of mine's has S-Line Suspension and mine is around 12-15mm taller than his. His car is 2015...
Hi all,
I am the happy owner of a Facelift A3 Saloon. The car is full S-LINE (except for the suspension which is Sport). 2.0 TFSI manual 190HP. After trying S3 Saloon Springs+Shocks, the car is much more stiffer than with the stock Sport Suspension but it hasn't lowered at all. I assume that...
