Update to this post, the fix was so simple. It was a Small Green O'ring missing from the intercooler piping. The pipe was almost popping off under boost and sometimes sealing its self, which is why it had boost sometimes but not others.

I'd assume that the mechanic has done it properly, i could definitely see this affecting a misfire however i couldn't see it affecting the boost issues. It was perfectly fine when he had the car and now he wants nothing to do with it.

This is with standard internals back in, they won't rebuild it with them in as they wont take liability if it breaks. Taking it to get fitted professionally elsewhere now. Will driving a stage 2+ ready car without a remap damage my vehicle at all?

UPDATE: Car is repaired, brand new fuel pump and fuel filter £310 it set me back. Lesson learnt getting a professional to sort my car out now.

The garage has ordered it for me, it's a friend of a friend so shouldn't be too overpriced. Got him to change my fuel filter as well while it's there as im unsure when it was last changed.

Thanks for your response, he rebuilt it with the stock internals back in as well and it's still showing low fuel pressure and going into limp mode. The new garage im at now is saying they're going to inspect the fuel pump and ill probably have to buy a new one.

Im in the North West myself, it's in the garage now so ill have to wait and see what they say at this one. Having an absolute nightmare with it though, getting costly!

Another update, the sensor did not fix the problem and that mechanic has given up as he is unable to diagnose the problem. I am taking it elsewhere today, may try a new fuel pump and cut my losses.

Ill get him to double check, the sensor doesn't arrive until tomorrow. Thank you for the suggestion.

Update: He think's that it is a sensor as the fuel pump is built fine, no cracks on the plastics or anything. Sensor won't arrive until next week sadly. Ill keep you all posted.

Quick update, it's in the garage today. Got it scanned and it's showing low fuel pressure. The car went into limp mode which is why it was driving like ****, he deleted it and removed limp mode and it runs fine. He is now just finding out why the light keeps coming back on and has disassembled...
