    Thanks for the replies, i have owned an 8P S3 in the past and i would say this is by far more evident with this car than the previous model. I would have expected a slicker gear change but like i said it doesnt sound like an issue just feels a little notchy. Cheers

    Hi, just a quick question is the 8V S3 known for having what i would describe as a notchy gear change, this is more noticeable in second and thrid gear. Its not a definate mehcanical issue just different in second and thrird than the other gears. Thanks

    S3 MPG gone up

    Its exactly the same commute, not combined MPG just on each journey. I now average between 32-35 when previous it was always 30-31 if taking it easy. 8 mile journey on A / B roads at 06.30 though. Could there be something faulty? Thanks

    Hi, Just noticed today what I think looks like a bit to much Mayonnaise in the oil filler cap. Just wondered what other peoples look like? I know there will be some and this is normal. Mine was covering the filler cap and some around the edge of the neck. Thanks in advance.

    Hi I have recently replaced the blower motor and in doing so I had to remove the glove box. Due to disconnecting the Air bag switch I now have a air bag warning light in the cluster. Has anyone got any ideas on how to reset the warning light? Thanks in advance

    Hi, has anyone got any ideas on the cause of the stange noise coming from what I think is my heater blower. It sounds like a whirling / whining sound that can be stopped by turing the heater off. It isn't constent and changes frequency. Never heard the noise until today. Thanks

    Hi just a quicky I am having a debate with a guy at work who owns a impreza. He leaves his car running for a minute of so after driving to allow the turbo to cool etc. Is this still the case with modern turbo engines ? Thanks

    Will do thanks just thought I would get some advice first, as I am unsure how the water would get into a sealed unit. Unless it is coolant caused by the floodwater somehow. Thanks
