Hi guys am looking for an auto electrician ,live in Failsworth which has an M35 postcode having issues with,no remote locking only front doors locking when using a key,only passenger door bonnet and boot display as open on info panel remote boot unlocking not working interior lights not working...

Have had the oil change ,at first there seemed to be no change so had arranged to test drive a car at a nearby garage and had a little bast of motorway speeds ,on the way back noticed that the problems that had noticed weren't happening and after driving round now for a few days can't believe...

Thanks for advice £1200 more than cars worth ,will try oil change first

Hi guys my 2001 a4 has a judder when setting off some times and I would describe it as a shiver when driving along though it still drives smooth,have read that a gearbox oil change could help ,does anyone know if these symptoms mean the box is on the way out or would it be an expensive fix thanks

Does anyone know the part number for the CCM for a 2001 2ltr saloon with Front electric windows only and is it a different part fitted to a car with front and rear electric windows as had mine replaced but still no Alarm .Central locking or remote boot opening also only Drivers door...

Carpet is dry and no moisture in door either

Thanks for all your suggestions,will pass them on ,it has had a diagnostic but it was all error codes but did not indicate what was going wrong

1 Central locking stopped working remotely,2 Rear doors don't lock or even show up on dashboard display when opened ,3 When any of doors opened no interior light , 4 Alarm stopped working, only goes off when I have locked doors with key then after unlocking goes off about 20 seconds later,5...

Cars been in and the CCU is fine the problem is with the locking units in drivers door,so they are trying to get thr parts

They have been cleared but wonder how many before we'd when the CCU s been looked at

Evening all,been having problems with the Comfort Control Unit so as car was due service and mot asked them to have a look,so car passes with a couple of cautions so all in all pleased ,then he gives me the read out off error codes,so here is the list for your enjoyment...

Just tried mirrors, not working ,car in for service and mot tomorrow ,so will have to wait till sat to have a go and fix
