Ok thanks, luckily I have enough common sense to know that if the engine was knackered blue smoke would be seen on start up...Im sure its worth getting them replaced as a starting point... Injectors as they say it could be would surely mean the engine would run rough and be hard to start?
Ive been all through the limp mode fixes,new manifold recon turbo etc.. When the new turbo was fitted it was still limping under load.. There is a multiplug on the turbo actuator.. Clean that with electrical contact cleaner.. My car was instantly better in every gear, no hesitation and no limpmode.
Well,what happened is..because I had the cam belt and water pump replaced at Audi about 6 months ago.. They gave me free MOts for the rest of the life of the car..As I say last year at Audi it passed. This year they said it failed on the emissions as I said,a fuel leak and a few other things...

yeah, Im a saint for putting up with it for 100k and nearly 4 years, as I can remember it first happening on the way to a mates wedding..The rest of the car is quality and lasted really well. The body, the paint,the interior the suspension are still excellent.
