    hid conversion?

Running a 5k kit in my AR, as the genuine headlamps 2nd hand are stupid money. No issues with melted lenses, and beam pattern is no issue, nice clean halogen pattern. If your worried you'll dazzle, manually adjust a touch lower.

    air suspension question

The only other places that air can leak are: Seals top and bottom of spring Pipe work or vos fitting. Compressor, valve block, and accumulator are at the rear. The longer you leave it, the more chance you have of damaging the compressor.

    Another air suspension question

Not always, mine would be OK on LV3, but if left on 1 or 2, would start to sink after 5mins. The best way to check, is to spray on some soapy water, they usually go towards the bottom of the bag, as they roll under. Check at each level. If you can here air and see bubbles, it's shot, replace...

    Another air suspension question

Chances are you have a leak in one of the suspension airbags. Is it any particular corner? The reason I ask, is that the NSF is the most common to go first.

2.5 TDi Quattro Oil & Water Temp reading - Possible thermostat prob.

Stat is goosed, had a similar issue on my Allroad. Wouldn't get above 75, had the stat changed whilst the belts were done, now sits bang on 90 and doesn't move. Drivability is much improved, as it's now running on it's correct cal when warmed up.

    Wiper Problem

You need to remove wiper arms, the plastic scuttle that runs along the bottom of the screen, plus the cover below that, which covers the battery, ECM and pollen filter. Remove the lid for the ECM, take out the tall standing relay. Then undo 3x bolts holding the assembly in, once you have it far...

    Wiper Problem

Pobbably seized spindles, common problem, as the water from the screen passes over the spindles, eventually it washes the grease out. Remove the assembly, carefully remove the spindles, regrease and they'll work fine. Don't knock the spindles out, as you can quite easily break the cast alloy...

what tyres for my Allroad 2.5 tdi

I've had both the Goodyears and Pirellis. IMPO the Pirellis are more durable than the Goodyears. Better mud and snow as well. Mark

    Allroad Tyres

I prefer the Goodyears (wrangler f1). Feels a lot more planted wet and dry. Mark

    02 Allroad, some visual help

Hi, I need someone with an '02 TDi allroad, to give me some visual confirmation. Can you confirm that behind the outer grills in the front bumper, next to the fog lamps (tow eye on RHS), there is some form of ducting on the RHS for the intercooler, and a blank on the LHS, so you can't see the...
