Finally got the wheels on. Went for fk 20mm spacers as I didn't see the point paying extra for custom made ones. Fit them with nankang ns-20 215 35 R19 tyres. No rubbing issues what so ever.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'm likely to be getting custom made so I may as well stay within the law and get 19mm adapters. Although it is nice to know that a 20mm adapter will also be ok if I change my mind or some crop up at the right price!
Thanks, I'll go with the 19mm spacer. I'm most likely gonna get custom made ones from this company G23 - Home page - Custom Machining. That way I can put the wheel straight on with out spigot rings. Although I am tempted to go with 215's just to be sure they will clear once on coilovers plus I...
Well this is awkward haha, I have a set of steelies on at the moment :( they are et50 6.5J all round. Un sure of height at the moment I will get back to you on that, the car has s line shocks on with H&R 35mm lowering springs. I am planning on coilovers soon though. Flush with the arch width...
I'm generally careful with my wheels so curbing is not all that much of an issue to me. Although I'm still confused about the width of adapter I require. The measurements of alloy wheels are confusing! I ideally want the wheels to sit flush with the arch without scraping. Thanks for all of the...
Thanks for the advice mate... looks like new tyres it is then, bit of a shame but oh well! I'm pretty confident they will work I've seen a set of these on an a3 before and I know there is some one on this forum some where who is running cayenne wheels. I'm pretty sure they are the same specs...
I've seen that a lot of people go for 225 or 215 tyres with 19's. I bought the wheels with tyres on and they have 6mm on so it would be nice to make use of them.
As the title says. The wheels are 19" et62 8.5j 5x130. I need a set of pcd adapters but unsure how thick and I don't know for definate the centre bore of the wheels. They are fitted with 235 35 19 tyres. Am I going to have issues with rubbing? The car is lowered 35mm all round.
Thanks!
Been a while since I've been able to make any update here. Well to be honest it's not an update really as I have not done anything else up to now as I've run out of cash! Going to try a different set of wheels soon and see if there is any improvement, I may then look at changing the bushes. I'll...
yeah I had thought that but ripping them apart and re sealing is a ball ache! and I'm not a 100% sure what I would re seal them with too. I have a set of oem xenons that I've not fitted to the car although they are missing ballasts and the ballasts cost a fortune!
