Ground loop isolators from maplin sorted mine, only issue was getting them in behind the unit, they are huge! Ended up extending the cables out and fitting them behind the glovebox

Air suspension pump is underneath the car behind the spare wheel well, underneath a cover that is held on with 3 (probably very rusty! Nuts). I'd first check to see if it has 12v power to it.

Yes it's the AKE 180hp manual (with the low ratio box which would be great for towing I suspect!), drives very nicely and has a folder full of receipts with full history dating back to new (serviced every year - sometimes twice in a year when it did bigger miles!) Heated leather, Bose etc...

Mine isn't a 1.8T but a 110hp TDi Following Golf logic it should have a red i but doesn't, it's silver. However i have seen 110TDi's (not quatrros) that do have red i's..... mostly i think it's the 130TDi that have them but i do also think it's either random or previous owners trying to fool...
