Hi Jon, you were correct, the unit had let go and needed replacing. They've ordered a whole unit including thermostat, around £650 all in, bet it back tomorrow. I suppose, one way of looking at it, at least that's taken care of for a good few miles... ha

Thanks, it doesn't look as good as that so no module. I also removed one of the rear lights today and no additional wiring so I am hoping its just coding it back to standard. Thanks for all your replies.
