Well lush had a brand new 2008 when mine was in for warranty it was audi's managers car only had it for a week it was top spec le-mans it was a I want if had the money but now they are going a little cheaper good luck finding one.

Hi the fault is in the c/locking units on 1 or 2 or 3 or even 4 or 5 in very worst case on each unit there is a micro switch at the bottom . What has happened is the rubber seal has perrished and water has gone inside and corroded the switch itself and because its corroded its shorting out...

ive have had this problem and fixed by AUDI if your roof has not been respayed by anyone but audi all is ok they will do a paint depth check on all the panels this will tell them that no paint jobs have been done as long as its with in there measurements it will be ok. Next there is a recall...

found them today phoned window fitter who replaced one few years ago who put me in the right direction look for the alarm logo and there in that corner 2 wires attached to window on both sides then join the 2 wires together reset alarm unlock lock several times:yahoo::kissmyrings:
