Yeah the brakes do make a slight squeaking noise when applied even after copper greasing them but that has been constant from when they were first fitted. This noise is when the brakes aren't applied and driving along and just from the offside wheel.

Yeah it does stop when you hit the brakes. I've replaced both front pads recently and inspected the discs for anything rubbing but nothing there either.

Use some etch primer mate as most bolts are galvanised and the paint won't adhere well to the coating. Google Upol Acid 8 etch primer and use some of that.

I've got 19" mtm's on mine with KW sport suspension and the ride isn't particularly bad. Yeah it is harder than smaller wheels with thicker tyres but certainly isn't bone shattering. I do sometimes want to switch back to a smaller wheel for more comfort and better handling but they suit the car...

There are two nuts that hold it in place. You need to remove the trim on the back of the boot, disconnect the light/switch connections and you can access the nuts from the inside to remove them and take it off.

The build finished mid last year Stacey so nothing much to report on it. I find myself wanting to rip it apart again and improve certain aspects etc but ive resisted so far! I sold my other run around car a month ago so I can't really have this off the road too.

The core is going to stay much cooler than the turbine housing so I'd still expect it to hold up ok but it appears not to be so I'm not going to waste any more time on using it. I thought I had a spare oem gasket but don't so looks like the car will be sat around until Monday hoping that...

It's rated to withstand over 400 degrees C so I can't see how it is just the heat that is causing it.
