Prices start from £400 depending on condition of the head, guides from £100 and if you want it soda blasting its £30
Hi thanks for your reply would it be ok to send you some pics on Saturday when I've got rocket off. Been have problems getting timing right. Didn't think it should be like that god knows what the previous owner was up to 😡 if I replaced the followers would you think it would be ok to use the bam cam? Thanks once again.
Hi s3 Dave pointed me in your direction do you know if the apy engine exhaust cam and inlet cam have the same size notch in them? Mine are different sizes exh is thin and wide and the inlet is the same as amk bam. I bought a bam exhaust cam as needed the pulley off it and the notch on it is completely different size compared to the one in my engine. Any help would be very useful thanks. Ben.

£400 but if it needs new guides, just the the exhaust guides as i have never seen any 20v heads that needs inlets then thats £80 on top. You will have the head ported and polished, cleaned, valves cleaned and lapped in with new seals, skim and much more and all ready for you to bolt to the block.
Hi Andrew, could you give me some idea it would cost me to clean up a AGU head, port polish head skim valves etc

    cheers

Hey, i was wondering what gauge pod u are using? I mean this steering wheel pod, for those 2 gauges. Havent seen they make these for A3/S3? I really need one for my S as well :)
hi mae just wondering how much you would charge for ports cleaning etc as i have just read your thread?
Labour nothing as i'm building the engine and porting the head

I got the stroker kit and valves from IE and cost just short of £1k and then i found a Mk4 Gold TDI crank from a company in the UK at £150

They were kind enough to send it as lower value goods so i didn't have to pay as much tax

Parts like gaskets and seal i've just shopped about for the cheapest know names
Hello bud, you mind if i pick your brain a bit ref your 2.1 conversion ? Im thinking about doing simular in about 4 months and would like to get a good idea on the parts required labour costs and things like that :)

    Many Thanks. Gary
