It started just after I have fitted the big turbo kit (IHI VF34) , on 4th gear at full throtle and over 100km/h it cuts off. After that I can not reengage it again, it stays off until a stop the engine.
Yes, I did.
new brake lines, rotors, ferodo ds 2500 and brf600. better but not much better.
H&R swaybars, H&R springs with Bilstein B8 shock absorbers.
I make 13.0-13.2 on 400m with 365bhp from my IHI.
It is not a bad time for an S3 but compared with an STI or EVO with 365 bhp it is terrible. The imports will be 5 to 6 car lenghts in front.
I have finished everything yesterday and I have tested the car last night.
I put Defi gauges and Greddy bost controler.
IT IS INCREDIBLE !!!!!
I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!
You may have a point there !!! not slower, but more demanding to drive faster.
Now I have the IHI VF34, which I LOVE. Better for my pleasure than the K04 in all ways, and keep in mind that for all day driving I run 1bar stedy. The spoll up is faster than the OEM setup in every way.
so , the conclusion is prety much what I was saying in the begining.
255-260 is a power that you can obtain , you say easy, I say resonable. More than 260 is prety expensive so another turbo is , in my opinion, a much better option.
I am getting tired trying to find out what's wrong with my S3 ESP.
After big turbo upgrade(I don't know if it has anything to do with it) it keep cutting of at A point, and after that I can not reengage it back on, only if I stop the engine and restart it !
Did this ever happend to you?
22 kg is the oem tt wheel. without tyre.
a good 18" wheel is about 8.15kg : BuddyClub,CE28N,Special OZ wheels, some WRC model of Enkey and 9.5kg for OZ Ultralegera.
OK. So my mistake, then.
Sorry about waisting your time and for reading my uninformed and false pots.
At the end you have a poit: everyone has his own point of view about what he wants or likes in his car. You are right 100%. I didn't see that.
The K04 is not good for my way of driving and...
