hi im changing an engine in a4 53 plate
the engine ive got to replace the oringnal engine is aum coded engine would this be straight swap ?
any help would do
I had this problem after replacing the timing belt, solved the problem by blanking off the egr valve, bought the blank off plate from eBay placed it between the egr valve and pipe from turbo. Doesn't rough idle any more or white smoke on warm up. No management light up on dash.
can anybody help me in the process of fitting xenon headlights with kuftec levelling kit.
On the headlight adapter plug14 pin I have to insert 4 wires in to the plug , I've tried pushing them in but they don't seam to go all the way in .
Do I have to remove the pink bit to help the pin going in...
i i have an a4 avant b7 quattro and have just fitted a tow bar i bought a ECS tow bar wiring kit for this a car , have wired it all in and instruction say it has to be coded to the car. i have vag.com . can any body tell me how to do this.
can any body help me with the part number for the electrical terminals (or repair wires) that fit in the back of the fuse box as want to hard wire in a dash cam.

HI ROBIN, was thinking about fitting footwell lights to my a4 b7 avant. can you help me out with the parts and some instruction to do this? what would be costing for parts? thanks
i have a A4 avant with a brd engine (170) , I had the timing belt changed a couple of days ago, now when it is on warm up there is excess smoke from the exhausts.
Can any body help with this problem?

when you do the belt the pulleys are held in placeby pins
if remember what you need is vagcom and check the torson valve. you can adjust the cam timing by holding the cam pulley with the pin in it and move the cam itself. im sure i have read a thread on this site about it

hi , i had the same problem on my car, lumpy idle on warm , excessive white smoke from exhausts. took my car to AVON TUNING in bristol and they fixed the problem for me. parently the cam timing was out on the inlet cam.
