I’m no certified Audi mechanic but I’ve done the brakes on my A6 a few times (plus other vehicles). I never open the brake fluid reservoir with the reason being that it could introduce air into the system and then I’ll have to follow up the brake change with bleeding the fluid. Instead, I...
You have acquired the same bumper that comes on the 09-10 A6.
The first pic that you posted through me off because the factory grill around the fog light housing doesn’t look like that . The first pic you posted has chrome trim added.

I’ve done it. I had problems getting my vds to connect so I was in a pinch. You can do so by removing two screws on the motor which will then give access to manually wind the calipers open. I wrote more about it in a post on doing my brakes a year ago. There’s also u tube videos on how to...
I have a set of S6 seats that I’ll be installing soon. My car already has heated seats and power movement. I’m hoping for an uneventful install.

I have the same issue is intermittently bottoming out on the rear passenger side (left hand drive). My car is lowered on H&R springs with 19 in wheels and somehow, just on that side, the car sits a tad lower and toward the lip of the fender....considering moving to coil overs to resolve.
Thanks for posting, especially those special notes. I am experiencing the same issue on my A6 3.0 TFSI. The other symptom is that it sputters under hard acceleration.

Yes but he’s stating that the MMI powers on so he must have power to the switch but I absolutely could be wrong.
I’d also check for the obvious...loose battery cables...etc
Is this an intermittent problem or did it just come out of the blue?

I’m no expert but sounds like it could be a fuse. Try checking the starter relay.
Also, seems to me that if you still have power, a code reader should still work to help diagnose.

Excellent info. I’ll jump onto your thread and let you know if I resolve.
To the OP, apologies for hijacking your thread.[emoji1374]

I’m only rubbing on the right rear wheel. Running H&R springs with 255/35/19s and 19x5x8.5 et 38 wheels. Seems that the right rear side sits slightly lower than the left.

I’m still trying to sort out why my 19in wheel is scraping the rear fender liner. I can only imagine the issues that 20s would cause.
