Thanks for that long reply. I'll look around for a good deal and see what i can get for my money. If i see a 170 for the right price with a few good extra i may as well go for it.. But if i see a 140 at a good price with some extras then i've got a decision to make

I drive eco at the moment as i want to keep my mpg up. I do occasionally put my fot down tho. 500+ sounds really good to me! My annual mileage is about 20,000.

The mpg is the major thing that making me want a tdi cos it will save me some money on running costs

Thats really good, i could only dream of seeing such a high number on my ibiza.. Seems like the A3 will save me quite a bit of money in fuel.. Is there any issues with the tdi140 that i should look out for?
