    Service intervals

Thanks. That's a huge help. The only issue is that the car tells me when it wants to be serviced and I think the intervals are 15,000km...!

    Service intervals

Can anybody tell me where I can check the service intervals and required work at each service please? I'm past using Audi but for a while was asking them for the work to be completed each time. I think they're fed up with me now...! Thanks.

The Bosch R5502 is an activated carbon filter

    JudderMan's A1TFSi Sport

So we had this done and honestly, I can't feel any difference. No change to mpg and the only thing noticeable when driving was the well known stuttering at low revs, which is still there. So I wouldn't suggest it for a 55k 1.4TFSi 185bhp motor. That being said, you're right, it does only cost a...

Quick hello - My A1 185 Black Edition

Looks great but the wheel colour change and ride height aren't to my taste! I think those wheels as standard are some of the nicest that Audi have produced and the size really suits the A1. 185bhp feels pretty good to me but I'm getting very close to paying the local REVO guys a visit...!

    A1 cabin filter

Hi guys, Can anybody confirm the part number for the cabin filter, or somewhere where I can look to gather this info? It's a 2011 twin-charger A1 185bhp. I want to start doing more DIY servicing so any suggestions on a good place to find part number info? Thanks.

Interesting. Ours has 55k on it so maybe something worth considering in the near future

    Retro fit flat bottom

I did see somebody somewhere talking about issues with getting the paddle shifters and steering wheel buttons to work but I think that was an A1 not an S1. I'm with tyr382 though, I don't see why connections, components etc would vary from one to the next, but it would be good to get first-hand...

New A1 owner - with lots of questions

That's a shame if so. We're over in Singapore/Malaysia so unlikely that anybody over here has VCDS. I did enquire with Ross-Tech about buying it, but it's very expensive...!

    Exhaust tips

They come off very easily. Just pull and twist. I spent some time on them over the weekend and they are looking much better. Not perfect, but a huge improvement. Wire wool and some Autosol got them in decent shape.

New A1 owner - with lots of questions

JudderMan, thanks so much for the Carista tip. The dongle arrived last week so I had a quick play over the weekend. Everything is very simple, mirrors now close on locking the car and the nearside mirror dips when reversing. The needle sweep is pretty cool and I was able to change fuel...

    Exhaust tips

Has anybody removed the tips from the exhaust for cleaning and/or replacement? Ours are a mess, caked on dust. I've had a quick go at cleaning them with metal polish but it would be much easier if I could take them off and clean them in a bucket. You can buy new tips so I guess they can be...
